Sanjay Kumar is Co-Founder of BestStockInsight, where he brings more than 15 years of experience across technology product management, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, strategy, and software-driven products.
Sanjay has held senior product leadership roles at Cisco, where he led product strategy and development for enterprise SaaS and AI-enabled products. His broader professional experience includes product, analytics, and strategy roles across Cisco, ITC Infotech, Walmart Global eCommerce, and eBay.
Throughout his career, Sanjay has worked extensively with data-driven products and large datasets, applying analytics to identify patterns, measure outcomes, evaluate opportunities, and support business decisions. His experience spans product development, data platforms, machine learning, statistical analysis, forecasting, market and competitive analysis, and the development of technology products from concept through launch.
Sanjay's interest in financial markets and quantitative analysis contributed to the creation of BestStockInsight. The service was developed around a simple observation: when an S&P index addition is announced, information can be reflected in a stock's price quickly, while individual investors may not learn about the announcement until considerably later.
BestStockInsight was created to help close that information gap by monitoring S&P index addition announcements and delivering timely alerts directly to subscribers. Rather than predicting which stocks will rise or telling subscribers what to buy or sell, the service is designed to provide timely information so investors can evaluate the event and make their own decisions.
Sanjay holds an MBA in Strategy and General Management from the Yale School of Management, an M.S. in Business Administration (Information Systems) from Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.

BestStockInsight is built by a team with experience across software engineering, data engineering, data science, product development and financial-market research. The team has collected and analyzed historical data on S&P index additions and built the technology underlying BestStockInsight's monitoring, research and notification systems.
Our work combines large-scale data collection, historical market analysis and software engineering to identify and analyze index-change events and deliver timely information when new S&P index additions are announced.
Our team has collected and analyzed data from more than 750 S&P index additions dating back to 2018. The research behind the platform includes the collection and analysis of hundreds of historical S&P index-addition events, including announcement timing, index membership changes and subsequent stock-price behavior. That research is used both to publish historical studies and to inform the technology we use to monitor new index-addition announcements.
